COMMUNITY TRANSIT

The Community Transit (TRANSIT) procedure concerns the movement of goods between two points of the customs territory of the European Community, free of taxes and customs duties. There are two types of Community transit:

  • External transit T1, which is related to non-Community goods (e.g. transit of imported goods from China to be forwarded to another territory of the European Community, or to third countries such as Serbia and Albania)
  • Internal transit T2, which is related to Community goods which move from one point of the Community to another but pass through one or more EFTA countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein)

Community transit is an important customs tool for any modern extroverted business. Our extensive experience in handling all types of transit cases and our up-to-date information on the legal framework, make us your ideal, specialized partner in the field of TRANSIT.
