In the framework of the Common Commercial Policy, the European Union has set as a priority to facilitate the access of European businesses to third country markets by concluding trade agreements with a large number of partners. As a result, there is a mutually favorable tariff treatment between the EU and these countries, with reduction or even exemption of duties.<\/p>\n
The origin of these goods should be verified for them to be subject to a preferential tariff status and for this reason, the certificate of preferential origin (e.g. EUR1) should be presented to the customs office.<\/p>\n
